The Functional Beauty of Departure Areas(German style by an American)
November 29, 2015Daniel Everett is an american artist and photographer native from Ohio, now residing in Utah. His work ranges from sculptures to photography to video, and shows how a photograph changes when treated as a sculptural object.
To him, images are actual things and this idea is visible in his series Departure. The photographs somehow change the way we perceive the environments captured. Everett managed to turn the spaces into as areas of functional beauty rather than what they would otherwise represent. Departure’s turns organized chaos, high tension and human drama into a work of art.
