A photography exhibition combines art and fashion was showcased at M50 gallery benefitting the children education
This charity art exhibition is collaborated by three parties - Esee Model Agency, the multibrand designers store “DongLiang”, and two artists Athena Wang (fashion stylist) and ChowKarhoo (photographer). Esee model agency showcases 12 of their models in this shooting, and the multibrand shop DongLiang provides the garments of the 12 designers for the styling use.
The photographer ChowKarhoo and the stylist Athena Wang combine art, photography, and fashion altogether to push the boundary of the conventional visual perspectives, and to interpret the “dot” philosophy and its visual impact. The resulting images are surreal and conceptual, with a tint of quirky fantasy. They intend to challenge the conventional composition of aesthetics and the structure of a space.
All profits from the sale of the exhibition photographs will be donated to The Library Project, benefitting the kids across many rural provinces in China to gain access to books and better education. As the artists Athena Wang and ChowKarhoo firmly believes, knowledge and education is essential and key to a brighter future especially for kids who is eager to learn but with no resource. They feel honored to be able to support this good cause. The photographs will be ready for sale from August 29, 2014.
